Caitlin and Eric wed!

Caitlin and Eric tied the knot on May 27th at Venue at the Grove in Phoenix.  It was my first time at the Venue and it is quite picturesque!  The ceremony site is gorgeous, though the lighting was challenging with broken sunlight from the trees (but a veteran like me can handle such technical difficulties!)  The grounds have inspiring backdrops for the portraits and group shots.  And the reception room was perfectly sized and elegant-- roomy but small enough to be intimate.

Caitlin and Eric did their engagement session last year at a vineyard in Cornville, AZ.  They got me hooked on the place!  Anyways, the wedding day had great weather (not too hot, amazingly).  The ceremony therefor was beautiful and comfortable, a miracle for an Arizona day in late May.  Caitlin kept telling me before the wedding that Eric really didn't want to do any formal photos-- only candids.  Which is impossible if you want family photos at least.  BUT he was a trooper, had fun with it and lasted the whole session (45 min? or was it 60?)  Maybe it was the little gift of a flask that I gave him before the ceremony?  Plus he is just a sweet guy.  Their reception was one heck of a party-- the dance floor was always busy with moves, which kept me and my assistants busy.  Thanks to Infinity Entertainment for the variety of hip tunes and running the show at the reception.  They all really had a bunch of fun!  Congratulations to Eric and Caitlin!  You and your families were a true pleasure to spend the day with!

These chair arrangements were to die for-- classic and perfect for spring.
This next shot is hot, huh?
The were getting DOWN all right!
And they were getting worn out too.
