Andrea and Zack

Andrea and Zack's wedding was this past Saturday at the Xona in Scottsdale. I photographed it along with Leanna, my second shooter for the day. Andrea and Zack are a super prepared couple-- things ran a little behind with getting ready, but there was plenty of extra time in the schedule that we still did photos prior to the ceremony and the ceremony began on time. Andrea had hot pink everywhere. She had parasols and pink sunglasses for photo props. And Zack had fake mustaches as his prop, as a gag since Andrea said the guys were NOT allowed to grow mustaches for the wedding. Andrea's dress was amazing and the bridesmaids dresses were hot and complimented the bride's dress perfectly. It was 9 hours of photography coverage. They wore me out-- I was pretty much a couch potato the next day! I had a great time though. If you would like to see their engagement shoot from the week prior, go to http://tracyspassion.blogspot.com/2011/03/andrea-and-zack-on-mill.html

Bouquet had peacock feathers in it...seems to be popular in the last 2 months.

Can't decide whether Andrea looks more like a royal princess or a glamorous movie star from generations ago. The camera loves her!

Zack's first moments seeing the lovely bride, Andrea.

Zack stared the audience down to see if anyone would speak up with objections...we all roared with laughter because he is so hilarious!

One of my favorite shots of the day...

D.J. Andrea was in the house!

They were a fun and wild group with their techno and dance moves!

Rachel and Jonty, TTD

Well, this was a post wedding shoot, not quite a trash the dress. Rachel and Jonty's wedding day (February 20th) was a freezing cold and rainy day. We didn't get quite as many portraits of the two of them that day due to cold, rain, and timing. When mother nature gives you rain on your wedding parade, it is a good excuse to do a post wedding shoot, trash the dress, or both!

This first shot is my favorite I think-- it is so different, artistic, and dramatic. It was a pleasure to work with them at their engagement shoot and at their wedding and this post wedding shoot as well. Rachel and Jonty are such a great couple-- I hope to photograph them again, and their family in the future (hint hint!)
