Missy and Brett's Maternity

Missy and Brett were one of my bride's and groom's from early 2007. We have kept in touch over the years, and I was honored when they wanted me to photograph some maternity portraits for them. I set up my studio backdrops and lights at their home, and we had fun being artistic with the big 'b' (belly!) I love pregnant bellies, I think because I loved being pregnant, and love being a mom! Anyways, here are some of our masterpieces...

This next one is my fav and Missy's fav...it is her personality showing thru...it is art!

Kathryn and Tom's engagement

This first one is one of my favorites from the shoot...

Kathryn and Tom officially hired me on April 1st, so it was recently that we met. Their wedding is in November. While calling around to find a wedding photographer, they said that there was one photographer that was actually kind of mean to them on the phone. I told them that I would be glad to be nice to them, all the time! Kathryn and Tom are so nice and easy going, hard to believe that they had such an experience with a mean vendor. I am very happy and excited to work with them both.

We had a few ideas of places for an engagement shoot. They finally settled on Desert Botanical Gardens. It was a bit of a warm day on Saturday, but it was a beautiful day. Kathryn and I have a fear of bees, and we amazingly didn't run in to any. We walked around for about an hour and a half. Here are the images...aren't they sweet together?!

The next two are the same shot; I just can't seem to decide whether I like the color one or the chocolate one better...

Shea and Jason

Here is my wedding from April 10th, at Wrigley Mansion.
I was second shooter for Mary Sandy (this is becoming a
good habit!) The grounds were beautiful, the wedding
was beautiful, and the bride and groom were beautiful.
Enjoyed myself greatly. Don't know how the dinner was
though...LOL

Dena and Jason

On Easter Sunday, I got the role of second shooter. I was hired by the talented Mary Sandy. I had never met Dena and Jason until the wedding, yet it seemed like we already knew eachother. Photography was/is very important to Dena. I hope that Dena, Jason, and Mary all find my images of that day to their artistic standards! I had a great time, and believe I captured that in their images. Here are a few of my favs from that beautiful Easter day...
