This engagement shoot was back on October 22, 2010. I have been slammed with shoots and editing, so a little behind compared to my normal turnaround. Jonty and Rachel live out of town. They came in for this particular weekend to visit with family and to work on wedding chores. We shot at the Heard Museum (with permission) and the Phoenix Art Museum. We had a great time-- they were very comfortable with eachother which leads to great images. So looking forward to their wedding in February!

Boo!
My family's favorite holiday is Halloween! It is all about fun and the kids, visiting with neighbors, dressing up, and family. This morning my kids carved their pumpkins (so busy lately that we did it last minute.) And this evening they dressed up and did the traditional trick or treating. We enjoy handing out candy in our driveway as much or more than going door to door. Here are some of the highlights. I would have photographed more images, but I like to enjoy the festivities of the evening as well as shoot them. Happy Halloween to all!!!

'Trash the Dress', IN the ocean!
Stephanie and Shea are amazing! The morning after their wedding, they wanted to get these beach shots. We met up at 8:30am and were shooting by 9am. I would have loved an hour or two earlier for the softer lighting, but who can blame a bride and groom for needing sleep? They did a bunch of tequila shots at their reception; when in Mexico, do as Mexicans do! But they were somehow still bright eyed and willing to be models. We were all laying in the warm clear surf by the end of the shoot. It was fun, exciting, and I would LOVE to do it again! Enjoy our wet, hot photos!
