Wickenburg Bliss

Reposting this one again...

April 17th's wedding was in Wickenburg, Arizona. It was at the bride's parents' home there. Ariana was our beautiful bride, and Aaron was our dapper groom. I got a lot of time to be creative and artistic that day, which made it a ton of fun! We didn't get the clouds I had ordered for the day, but the weather wasn't as warm as we had worried it would be. Ariana, Aaron, and I got our time away from the guests to take some romantic images. I always try to set up at least 20 to 30 minutes alone with the bride and groom for those special portraits of them. All in all it was a great wedding and a great day!

This next one is my favorite of the day...

Kim and Larry...

On August 7th, I photographed a wedding with Leanna of Photography by Leanna. I was her second shooter. Being a second shooter is such a nice change of pace (from being lead shooter.) We had never shot together before-- didn't seem that way though. We easily made a good team. Kim and Larry, the bride and groom, were so nice to work with. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs McDonough! Here are some of the images I took that day...

Tons of images!

Reposting this wedding-- one of my favorites...

Amanda and Todd were married on May 8th. Amanda is the sister of one of my favorite brides, Allison. So I already knew this family and knew it would be a fun easy going day. Their day was so full and so spread out, that I had 11 hours of coverage that day! Thank goodness Mary Sandy was my second shooter! We started out at the Valley Ho in Scottsdale, then went to the church ceremony at All Saints Catholic Newman Center by ASU, and then back to the Valley Ho. The reception was on the rooftop, which is always a blast. The Valley Ho is one of my favorite places to shoot a wedding! By the way, normally I have weddings edited and blogged within a week or so of the wedding. With this wedding it was just not possible because Mary and I shot 2000 images each, 4000 total. Ended up with about 2700 after editing. So this of course took time. Well, here are my favorite 30ish...
