"Hey lady, I want to see some pictures"

Yesterday I received an email stating just that, "Hey lady, I want to see some pictures". It was from my March 2nd bride, Alexe. Pretty sure she was being cute-- she has got to be eager to say the least since it is 2 weeks since the big day. I normally show highlights in a week, but things have been chaotic, business and personal. But I took a few hours and had some fun working on her images last night and this morning. I don't know if I am being indecisive or if there are just tons to show, but ended up with 58 favorites/highlights.

Alexe & Brendan were married at Villa Siena. The day was beautiful and perfect, except for their son, the ringbearer, having a stomach bug here and there throughout the day. But he was a trooper and somehow everything else went according to plan. Let me tell you, this was a wild wedding party-- totally fun formals and reception with them! Well, I won't make you wait any longer Alexe. Congratulations to the 3 of you! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day.

Loved all the chandeliers there...

Mmmm, glorious hot pink Steve Madden's

Usually when I see swords at a wedding, there are uniformed military personnel involved. This little guy was too cute!

I caught quite a few of the first kiss, but this shot of the anticipation leading into it was my fav.

Loved the high 5ing going on during the recessional!

This group new how to do improv for me-- thanks guys and gals!

He LOVED the d.j.'s lights on the floor.

Erica & Jason

Erica & Jason's wedding was February 19th. The church was in Carefree & the resort for the reception was Marriott McDowell Mountain. Gorgeous couple, for starters. And very nice. And their families treated me like family, I was so touched. I was accompanied by my apprentice, Andrew (though I haven't yet worked on any of his images yet-- but glanced and they look great.) The following are the images that stood out to me-- my favorites. Congratulations to Jason and Erica! I hope my future is full of such great weddings and families as yours!

Couldn't decide which shot of the shoes I liked better...

Bride's parents

This dress was made for her amazing figure!

Think this might be my favorite mirror shot (of mine) of all time.

Erica and the moms.

One of my favorites of this wedding, and maybe of the year so far. Saw this wall and the light flickering from the wind, and I was like 'we have to shoot there, now!'

This is during the ceremony; they had such a grip on eachother's hands.
