TTD

Do you know what TTD stands for? 'Trash The Dress'! This really doesn't mean destroying the dress though, TTD means to photograph the bride in her dress doing things she normally wouldn't do with no regard for getting the dress dirty. Usually though, the dress can be cleaned completely at the dry cleaner. And the dress has to be clean after the wedding anyways, so we go out and have some FUN!

Stephanie and Shea were married on 10/10/10 in Rocky Point, Mexico. The day after the wedding, we did a TTD in the ocean's surf. Yep, they laid in the sand and got all wet together. Actually I got wet too-- which was a blast! Stephanie had two dresses, and we had so much fun at the beach TTD, they asked me to do a second Trash The Dress. This time it was at a diamond, a baseball diamond. They both love baseball and softball, so this was the perfect way to show their personalities! They actually threw the ball back and forth and Steph hit while Shea pitched. Steph was suppose to miss so Shea wouldn't have to fetch balls-- but she kept hitting! They are both ball players, so it is hard to miss on purpose! They are also both teachers and coaches in the west valley-- super nice people. We had a fabulous time!

Let's pllllaaaaayyyy ball!

Any brides out there interested in TTD, I highly recommend it. A dress in a box isn't worth as much as fun creative photos displayed in your home. Call me if you have concerns or would like to make an appointment to Trash The Dress!

Sara and Chris

I don't know where to begin on this one! This wedding was different, fun, creative, and I was only able to narrow down my favorites to 40 shots! Sara is an amazing bride, she is sweet, gorgeous and what I call a 'hottie'. She wasn't paranoid about her dress like so many brides are, and she was all about the photos (my kind of bride!) Chris and his crew were easy to work with, even with all of their flasks! Chris gave me time away with him and Sara (without ANYONE else) which was great-- he understood that I needed one on one time to get some great portraits. As you go thru these photos, I will describe what you are about to see as you scroll. This wedding had unique happenings that I have never seen at a wedding before! Oh, the wedding ceremony and reception all took place at the Pointe Tapatio Cliffs on November 20th 2010.

Congrats to Chris and Sara! Can't wait for our Trash the Dress session in Sedona!

Sara decorated her shoes, and played around with the wording...

Now that is time management!

Now this next shot has an important person in it, but I won't tell you who he is until he appears again in 2 more shots...

The groom and his flask. All the guys had one...

Here is that mystery person-- he is our 'flower girl'!!!

They danced down the aisle...

The wedding party along with the 'flower girl'.

This next one has a special visitor to the reception...don't ask me why, but a 'bear' visited and interupted the best man's speech, just because.

I like it when brides and grooms dance close and like they are alone during their first dance.

Our bride opened the karaoke session with Sir Mix-A-Lot's "I Like Big Butts".

So we had an interesting flower girl, surprise bear, rapping bride, and one more thing...our grand finale is something I can't show you on my blog. Sara is using the shot for her thank you cards. Sooooo if you are a friend, family, or co-worker of Sara or Chris-- do NOT follow these instructions. If you do, it will ruin the surprise when you get your thank you card. If you want to see the last shots, go to my business FB page and it is posted there in my photo albums under Sara and Chris. While you are there, do me a favor and click on 'Like'-- thanks!
