Adele and Brian

You would have seen Adele and Brian's engagements recently on my blog. They live in Israel for the moment, but they had their wedding here in Tempe, at The Butte's. This was a Baha'i ceremony, my first. They didn't use a minister except for the license afterwards. Friends, family, and bride and groom recite readings and vows. I really liked their ceremony. They are a super FUN couple. They love to play games and have a good time. As you will see below, their centerpieces were various boardgames, their favors were velvet bags filled with lettered chocolates. The chocolates were for each table to use to spell words, like scrabble, at the beginning of the reception. Their color theme was the rainbow, each attendant having a different color. At one point in the day, there was a rainbow (photo below). It was Adele's rainbow! The flowers were so beautiful in Adele's bouquet that a bee hung out for a while in them. I couldn't have accomplished the day without my second shooter, Mary Sandy! The evening ended with a sparkler filled get away. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Powers!

Different Pointe of View...

Stephanie, my bride to be, wanted to shoot at the Tapatio Pointe Hilton. I love shooting at the Different Pointe of View restaurant-- the view is amazing, and so is the landscaping. So Stephanie and Shea and I met up on August 21st right after sunrise, and did our engagement shoot in the beautiful morning light. Even at that hour, it was still hot and sticky outside, but they were troopers! They still cuddled and got romantic for me. Their wedding is going to be one of my favorites of the year. It is in Rocky Point on October 10th, 2010. Not only is the ceremony on the beach, but we are going to do a 'Trash the Dress' shoot the following day, where they will both get into the ocean surf for some hot photos in their wedding attire (wedding gown and tux!) Here is a sampling of their engagement shoot...

Nic

Meet Nicolas. He is a senior at Liberty High in Vistancia. Nic is a wrestler, a successful one too! You should have seen all the medals he has. The last photo shows 3 out of a ton of them! We hung out at sunrise on August 22. We were lucky to have a cool morning with clouds. Let senioritis begin! For Nic that is, not me...
