Magazine Cover!
Arizona Bridal Source magazine, a local bridal magazine, came out yesterday. Been waiting patiently-- I photographed it in January! Here it is, and a link below it to the website where you can get a PDF or a printed copy. I also did the makeup and hair spreads in the book. It was so much fun to shoot, as covers always are! I will post more next week...

Dylan's Senior Session
Dylan's mom told me that they would like to have a few of his friends come for group shots at his senior session. I have sometimes had a friend or two, a girlfriend/boyfriend, siblings, and/or parents come for a few shots at a shoot. This was so fun, he had 11 friends able to make it, and this is only part of his group of peeps! Now I know how poor high school teachers feel trying to instruct huge groups of teens! Ha ha! They were a blast though; we all had a great time. What awesome memories he now has of his crazy group of friends!

Dawn and Carl
Carl was the Best Man at one of my weddings from spring of 2012. Dawn and Carl are such an easy going, cheerful couple. I believe their engagement session shows that fact! So looking forward to their wedding Sept 27th, because this engagement session was such a fun afternoon. We started out at The Bungalow on Scottsdale Road. We utilized the great backgrounds and scenery of Old Town Scottsdale and Scottsdale Civic Center throughout their session, even stopping for ice cream at The Sugar Bowl. Congratulations Dawn and Carl on your upcoming wedding!

Orange County E-Session
An E-Session, if you do not know, is an engagement session. This one took me and one of my second shooters, Elizabeth, to Orange County. Jennifer and Marco are getting married this fall (in Arizona), but they found out I had shot engagements in Orange County before, and they were going on a little trip anyways, so we all met up there for an afternoon of photography. First we shot under the pier, which is always romantic and picturesque. Then we shot at two artistic little shopping centers first, The Camp and The Lab. Tons of cute locations there, and they are right across the street from one another. You do have to pay a fee to shoot there, fyi for couples and photographers both. We were able to get approval to shoot gratis. And finally we went to the beach for sunset. Found a spot without surfers which was amazing because the waves were ideal that afternoon. Jennifer and Marco wore us out-- we barely had energy to go eat dinner and return to our hotel for dessert and bed. We stayed at the Radisson in Newport Beach. The have great chocolate raspberry cake for dessert. And breakfast along with Bloody Mary's the next morning was great too. Thank you Elizabeth, for being a great travel and photography partner, as usual!
I want to thank Jennifer and Marco again for a great trip and engagement session. We enjoyed spending the day with you both. I hope that you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed creating them. Looking forward to your wedding!
