Al and Aggie are getting married on November 28th right after Thanksgiving. They met online, and have been inseparable ever since they met in person. Their wedding is in Payson, where they live part of the time. They also live part of the time in Mesa, which is where this engagement shoot took place. They have 4 horses, and we included two of them on part of the shoot, which was a blast! The sunset was amazing that evening, throwing off beautiful oranges and reds. No wonder Arizona is known for its sunsets!

Sarah and Eric
Yesterday was Sarah and Eric's wedding. Their wedding ceremony and reception were both at a friend's amazing home in Troon Village (North Scottsdale). The ceremony was at sunset, but we ended up with about 5 minutes to shoot the bride and groom together with the sunsetting. We were extremely pressed for time, but it somehow all worked out great. They were both so nice to work with, and their families too. I had so much fun and was so excited about the images, that I worked some of them already! Here are some of my favorites from the day...

First Senior Shoot of the Season
Indie came from Vermont to visit family here in Arizona.
She wanted a southwest feel to the photos, so we shot at
the Desert Botanical Garden early Monday morning.
Well, 7am wasn't early enough, because we were still real
hot. But that is when the Garden opens. We had a good
time regardless of the heat. It was real nice meeting Indie
and her dad.

Allison & Kyle
Allison and Kyle planned their wedding a year in advance.
Their special day was this past weekend, June 20th.
It ended up being a weather worrisome day...drizzled on and off
the day before and day of their wedding. Fortunately
it dried up in time for the perfect ceremony out in the pines
at Little America Hotel. Their colors were red and tangerine
which made for a beautiful reception room. Allison and Kyle's
families and friends were so nice to work with that it was
almost not like working.
My friend and colleague, Ana Counts,
accompanied me to the wedding. She was a huge help that day!
We did work hard by running around and up and down stairs
getting 'the' shot throughout the day. Sometimes we were
together, but more so capturing seperate scenes.
Allison's sister, Amanda, is recently engaged and I
hope to have the honor of working with this group again!
This hotel was fabulous-- great room, service,
food. If you go to Flagstaff, this is the place to stay!
Congratulations Allison and Kyle! Ana and I really enjoyed
working with you all!
Here are just a few of my favorites from that special day.

Christina and Cameren say 'I do!'
I didn't even meet Christina and Cameren until the day
of their wedding. We got along so nicely that it didn't even
seem like we had just met. Their day went according to
schedule for the most part-- it was great! They saw
eachother before the ceremony, which really gave us a
lot of time for photos. Plus it seemed to take the stress
away, seeing eachother early in the day.
Congratulations Christina and Cameren!
