Christine & Kirk

Christine and Kirk's wedding was on October 8th. It was a perfect day-- not too hot, everything went smoothly, and there was one heck of a reception afterwards! Their wedding was at the Inspirador in Chandler and it was my first time there. That venue is fabulous, the decor, layout, and the service impeccable. This blog entry has the highlights of their day, and there are a lot of highlights because everything was so great! Congrats to Christine and Kirk-- hope Bora Bora was just perfect!

Amanda and Todd

This maternity shoot was very bitter-sweet. Let me explain our history-- I met Amanda when she helped with planning her sisters wedding in early 2009 (or maybe it was even late 2008?) Her sister was married in June of 2009. Amanda and Todd were engaged by the time of her sister's wedding. I was very excited-- it is always wonderful shooting with the same families again! She did hire me and I did Amanda and Todd's engagement photos in December of 2009 and their wedding in in May of 2010. We have become friends over the last couple years. They are expecting and due December 15, 2011 with Tyler Rademacher. All of this is the sweet part-- they are fun to be with and photograph, very nice, and very into artistic photos. The bitter part is that they are leaving for 3 years-- to Okinawa! Todd is being stationed there. Little Mr. Tyler will be born in Okinawa. Sad that they are leaving for so long, but know they will love their time there-- that is where my mother-in-law is from and my husband lived there for part of his childhood. They will have a great little island life over seas! Can't wait to see the baby pics, and so wish I were taking them! I am wishing you and your little family the best of everything over in Okinawa!
